Dawn Blount Walker

Born in Glen Cove, New York, Dawn has studied and practiced art virtually her entire life. She received her MFA from Boston University, and went on to become an award-winning graphic designer in the DC area. Dawn now resides in Middletown, Maryland on her lavender farm - Lavenderhollow - where her studio/gallery is a beloved feature of the FAV tour. Dawn has worked with many different media, but prefers the rich, vibrant colors of pastels. For her, art is an extension of a lifelong quest for beauty. "We're so busy in the world. No one has time to stop and really look at God's creations. I paint what God placed here."
