Marilu Tousignaut

Marilu Tousignaut's art education began formally at California's Riverside College, but it's never really stopped. For three decades she has drawn inspiration from the woods and fields of central Maryland as well as from her travels to many parts of the world. The information gleaned from photographs, workshops, sketchbooks and journals have been transposed onto paper and canvas. Favorite subjects still remain the natural world of trees, plants, birds and animals. Current work focuses on African wildlife and North American wild and domestic creatures rendered on scratchboard.
